1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Stacklog at stacklog.noobventure.com you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including project owners, editors, and viewers.

2. What Stacklog is

Stacklog is a self-hosted project and hobby tracker developed and operated by NoobVenture. It lets individuals and small teams organise projects, tasks, milestones, notes, files, and developer logs in one place.

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You may not share your account credentials with others.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Stacklog to:

  • Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' projects or the underlying infrastructure.
  • Interfere with the operation of the service (e.g. through automated abuse, DoS, or spam).
  • Reverse-engineer or extract the application source for purposes that violate these terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. Your content and data

You retain full ownership of the projects, tasks, notes, files, and other content you create in Stacklog. By uploading content you grant NoobVenture the limited right to store and serve it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload and that it does not violate any applicable laws.

6. Intellectual property

The Stacklog application, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of NoobVenture and is protected by copyright law. © 2026 NoobVenture. All rights reserved.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of Stacklog without explicit written permission from NoobVenture.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Stacklog is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. NoobVenture does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from data loss. You use the service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoobVenture shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Stacklog — including loss of data or profits.

9. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Stacklog at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. The "last updated" date will reflect any changes. Continued use of Stacklog after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.
